Registration for the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct Design Competition closed on Monday 15 April 2013. Seventy five Stage One submissions were received.  Three shortlisted teams have been invited to participate in Stage Two. Meet the teams here.

Registration Information - Archive

The Gold Coast Cultural Precinct Design Competition started on 26 March, 2013. Registration opened on 19 March 2013 and closed at 11am on Monday 15 April 2013.

Registrants must be architects or landscape architects registered with their relevant national professional association (Australian Institute of Architects, Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, or international equivalent).

Competition conditions and registration is available via LG tender box.

LG tender box is an electronic tendering portal used by many Queensland local governments, statutory bodies and other public sector entities.

Registered businesses can download documents, participate in forums and lodge electronic submissions.

To register

Follow the link to LG tender box. (If not already registered to access LG tender box, signing up is free and simple).

Once signed up for LG tender box:

  1. select 'Tenders' and from the drop down menu chose 'Current Tenders'.
  2. select 'Architectural Services' from the list provided and then chose Gold Coast Cultural Precinct Design Competition.
  3. select and download the registration form and conditions document.
  4. sign and email the completed form to competitionadviser@goldcoast.qld.gov.au . An acknowledgement will be forwarded to you confirming receipt of the form.

The Competition Design Brief and a range of other secure resources will be available from Dropbox from 26 March, 2013.
